Two Things

1. After several years of painstaking work, the photo-essay on which I have been collaborating with Tom Becker has been posted at the website Defenestration. The coffee table version of this massive artistic/journalistic undertaking should be available this fall from Bantam Dell Publishing.

2. Surely the Wikipedia has its skeptics and detractors, and I do believe that many of their concerns are valid. That being said, after several months of increasing use and reliance, I have come to the conclusion that Wikipedia is the single greatest collection and categorization of human knowledge since the destruction of the Great Library of Alexandria. Academia can stick that in their pipe and smoke it.
