Wally Schirra, one of the original Mercury Seven astronauts, has died. He was the fifth American in space, the third to orbit the Earth, and the only astronaut to have flown in Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions. To honor the passing of this American hero, here is a video of character actor Lance Henriksen (who played Schirra in The Right Stuff) signing autographs at a sci-fi convention.
